The IRF Secretariat, in partnership with Love Your Neighbor Community (LYNC) and Templeton Religion Trust, invites you to the inaugural IRF Builders Forum & Roger Williams IRF Awards Dinner—a landmark gathering of global leaders, advocates, and champions of religious freedom.

This two-day event will spotlight groundbreaking initiatives, foster dynamic collaboration, and celebrate the extraordinary efforts of those building religious freedom from the ground up.

  • Civil Society Congress: Breaking Barriers: Pathways to Greater Impact in Advancing Religious Freedom

    Location: Conway School of Nursing at Catholic University of America, Washington, DC

    • 8:30 AM: Check-in opens

    • 9:00 AM: Program begins

    • Coffee & lunch provided

    • 5:45 PM: Forum day concludes

  • Learn about the need for stronger civil society leadership, innovative new approaches, and coordination of multi-sector actions.

  • Participate in the Civil Society Congress, which provides faith communities and civil society organizations the opportunity to present innovative new solutions to increase the impact of the global movement. Registrants will receive a sign up form - coming soon!

  • Join interactive discussions that will help shape multi-faith campaigns that will catalyze engagement and meaningful dialogues with governments that restrict religious freedom, so as to create mechanisms for improvement of laws, policies, and practices related to religion.

  • Learn about the effectiveness of the "builders" approach to religious freedom. You will hear about successful case studies (from Ghana, Guatemala, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, etc.) that focus on how best to engage across deep differences and build religious freedom and social cohesion from the ground up.

  • Find out about regional secretariats and initiatives that are being developed in Central Africa, Eurasia, and Latin America.

  • Receive fascinating presentations about religious freedom and business, including a successful pilot program in India.

  • Celebrate the IRF Roundtable model and its participants and recognize the efforts and achievements of advocates and builders at the IRF Awards Dinner.
